Choosing a set of tuning forks is a lot easier when you approach the decision from who you are and how you want to get where you want to be. At Omnivos Therapeutics, I try to give as much information as I can in the product description of each tuning fork set. It includes personal experience, feedback from
clients and other practitioners and what I feel is reliable research. The pitfall most everyone seems to fall into is to make a decision based on words, a left brain decision. Gather as much information as you need but base your decision on who you are.
I'll explain this using the three most popular unweighted tuning fork sets, the Solar Harmonics, Solfeggio and Fibonacci. Working with these sets will take you to essentially the same place, a still point -- a place of deep meditation and silence where many people find awareness, understanding and a sense of peace. So if each of these sets take you to the same place, how do you chose?
Choosing Your Unweighted Tuning Fork Set
This is where the set descriptions and experience and feedback from others are important. For example, the Solfeggio Tuning Forks are based on numerology found in the Old Testament, the numbers 3, 6 and 9. The Solar Harmonics are based on the 5 elements, earth, fire, water, air and ether.
To choose between these sets, you should ask where you feel most connected. If you feel connected numerology or the spiritual connection of the Old Testament, then choose the Solfeggio. If you feel a connection the elements or Native American teachings, select the Solar Harmonics.
The very act of asking your self which set you feel connected to can still be an intellectual decision. So if you are still uncertain then ask your body.
Ask Your Body
The most reliable way to know which set is best for you is to not decide with your head, decide in your body. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and think of the Solfeggio. At that moment, do you feel good or is there a feeling of unease? If feel good then this is the set for you. Then do the same thing for any other sets you are considering. You may think it is a little silly but it is the best way to make a decision not based on intellect or emotion.
When try this on my own it is some times hard to know how I feel because I am still in my head so I'll ask someone else to ask me how I feel. This way I am not thinking, just being aware of how I feel. It is like using tuning forks or singing bowls. Feels good when you play and listen to them, feels better when you can lie down and let someone else play them for you.
I've recently started helping people to decide this way and it works every time. I know this because when they say what they are feeling, there is confidence behind the words. Give it a try.
