One of the simplest ways to apply sound therapy is with the use of tuning forks. The best way to get started is first, watch the 3 videos we created to help you get started,

Then, decide which forks you'd like to start with and try them, see how the feel, what works well and what does not. There is a very good DVD by Dr. John Beaulieu which explains how to use the Otto Tuners, the Solar Harmonics and Crystal Tuning Fork. The DVD is called Sound Healing with Tuning Forks. You can not do it wrong...

There are a lot of different techniques and methods available on how to use tuning forks and these classes can be very expensive and in some cases, complicated. The best advice we can give you is to use your instinct, your intuition. You really do not need to spend a lot of money on classes and tuning forks. Our own experience and the feedback we receive from others is doing what comes naturally works best. Trust.

The fear is that you can actually hurt some one if you do it "wrong". Truth is, if you use a frequency that is dissonant with you or the person you are working with, the worst that can happen is you/they may feel a little off for a few hours but will recover because your body's vibration is much stronger than the tuning fork (or crystal singing bowl, didgeridoo or anything else you may work with).

So...just do it.
