How to Use the Solfeggio Tuning Forks

This is the second article on the Solfeggio Tuning Forks. The first article was an Introduction to the Solfeggio Tuning Forks. Solfeggio Tuning ForksOne question I am asked more than any other is “what do I do with the Solfeggio Tuning Forks”. Some practitioners assign a frequency to a specific chakra and while there is nothing wrong with doing this, it is my experience that the Solfeggio frequencies work with the body as a whole. For example, many will use 396hz to clear the root chakra. The truth is that the 396hz will clear all chakras as will each of the Solfeggio frequencies. These forks will have a positive effect on the entire body. Don’t limit their effectiveness by limiting your beliefs about them. There is no right or wrong way to use the Solfeggio or any tuning forks. For now I realize that you may want a starting point. I have seen and experienced several different protocols, all good but some seem complicated which can bring your attention to your head rather than your intuition. I’ve outlined below a simple method for using the Solfeggio. If you have any questions, feel free to email or call me at 339.933.0380.

A Protocol for Using the Solfeggio Tuning Forks

Do this as often as you’d like during the day and try to work with these frequencies at least 3 times a week. Week 1: Listen to each frequency, one at a time from lowest to highest (174hz to 963hz). Be sure place the fork by each ear (i.e. tap and place the fork by the right ear, then tap and place it by the left ear, 3” – 6” from your ear). Week 2: Listen to two forks at the same time, one by each ear. For example, place the 174hz by the right ear and the 285hz by the left, then switch ears. Next, pickup the 285hz and the 396hz and repeat. Continue this up the scale. The last pair in this technique is to use 963hz and 174hz, completing the circle. Week 3: Listen to a cycle of 3 forks in succession:

174hz & 285hz 174hz & 396hz 285hz & 396hz

Then

285hz & 396hz 285hz & 417hz 396hz & 417hz

Week 4: Listen to a cycle of 3 forks by the numbers of the frequency. For example, these three forks have the numbers 1, 4 and 7:

174hz & 417hz 174hz & 741hz 417hz & 741hz

Repeat this for the other two sequence; 2, 8 & 5 and 3, 6 & 9. After week 4 continue with the method that feels best to you or, experiment with different combinations.

What If I Do It Wrong

Can I hurt myself or someone else if I do it wrong? In truth, the only way you can really hurt someone with a tuning fork is if you whack them over the head with it. Rest assured that your body is much more powerful than any frequency you put near it. If you happen to bring a frequency that is dissonant to yourself or someone else, the worst that could happen is that they will feel a little out of sorts for a while, perhaps a day. You body will return to its balanced state.

    1. Hello, If you go to the bottom of …this page you will see a button to download a white paper on the Solfeggio tuning forks. In it I outline a simple way to get started with this set. For arthritis, I strongly recommend the Otto 128 which has been shown to reduced the inflammation associated with arthritis.
